Nick Saban predicted Texas will take on Georgia in the SEC Championship game Monday on the SEC Network.
Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide took home the 2023 SEC Championship by defeating the Georgia Bulldogs before Saban retired. The former Tide head coach shocked some with his prediction. He discussed why he is leaving the Tide out at least for now.
“I believe in our Alabama team, too,” Saban said. “I believe in Jalen Milroe. I just think the question marks in the secondary… until those get resolved, it’s hard to sort of jump on that bandwagon.”
Alabama will have an opportunity to begin answering the questions surrounding its team next month when they kick off the season.
