Nick Saban shared his thoughts on Texas joining the SEC Monday at SEC Media Days.
The Longhorns won the Big 12 championship last season after going 11-1 during the regular season and beating Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Some feel the Longhorns can have similar success in the SEC.
Saban discussed why he feels the Longhorns will not have such a smooth ride in the SEC.
“What kind of tickles me is all these people asking these questions about how Texas always ran the conference they were in,” Saban said. “They are not going to run the SEC. There’s a whole lot of arrogant people in a lot of places in the SEC, so they can forget all about that. They’ll be a good team and a great program, and Sark (Steve Sarkisian) will do a great job, but that’s not going to be a problem.”
