Alabama football players shared their thoughts on Nick Saban leaving them out of his SEC Championship game predictions at SEC Media Days.
Saban predicted Texas and Georgia will meet in this year’s conference championship game Monday on SEC Now. Malachi Moore and Tyler Booker were asked about the prediction on Wednesday.
“Something coach Saban taught us whenever we speak with the media is to not concern ourselves with external factors,” Booker said with a smile. “He doesn’t work in the facility anymore, he works at the stadium, so he’s considered an external factor, so I’m not really paying attention to him.”

Moore also showed some respect for Saban’s prediction.
“Got to love coach Saban,” Moore said. “It’s a cool opinion for him to have. We just going to take it one day at a time and keep on working.
