Alabama football returns one of the most talented quarterbacks in the nation this fall, but the players around Jalen Milroe see him achieving a new level of greatness.

He gave Crimson Tide fans a taste of success in 2023 as a first-year starter.

Milroe finished his sophomore campaign with 2,834 passing yards and 35 total touchdowns, helping the Tide to a Southeastern Conference Championship and a berth in the College Football Playoff. His leadership earned him permanent team captain honors, but the people are him are excited about what’s to come with Milroe.

Jaxson Dart, a quarterback at Ole Miss, stated to reporters at SEC Media Days that Milroe is a ‘monster’ and he expects the native Texan to ‘be a baller for Alabama’ in the fall.

Tyler Booker, a junior offensive lineman for Alabama, said Milroe will “go to a whole new level” in Kalen DeBoer’s system.

He mentioned DeBoer’s offense allows for Milroe ‘”to be himself” and that “letting Jalen play his game is the best thing we can do” at Alabama.

Milroe and Booker are two of the biggest leaders on the team. DeBoer said Wednesday at SEC Media Days that Milroe has improved on making ‘high percentage passes’ and Milroe simply wants to master the game of football at quarterback.

Alabama will begin fall camp on Wednesday, July 31.
