Derek Meadows announced a verbal commitment to LSU over Alabama, Notre Dame and others on Saturday.
Meadows is a five-star wide receiver out of Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Crimson Tide hosted Meadows for an official visit last month, and the Crimson Tide were considered one of the favorites to land him following his visit.
Alabama recently picked up a commitment from five-star wideout, Caleb Cunningham. The Tide is also still in the running for five-star wide receiver, Kaliq Lockett.
It looks as if Alabama will continue to recruit wide receivers during the season.
