Pittsburgh Steelers’ safety, Minkah Fitzpatrick was ranked No. 79 on the NFL Top 100 players list on Tuesday evening.
Fitzpatrick was drafted with the No.11 pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft out of Alabama by the Miami Dolphins. Fitzpatrick was then traded to Pittsburgh in 2019, just a year into his career and has become one of the league’s best at his position.
The safety has played in 89 career games in his six seasons in the NFL, recording 510 tackles, 336 of them solo stops, 19 interceptions, four forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries. These stats have resulted in four Pro Bowl selections for Fitzpatrick as he has become a key cornerstone in the Pittsburgh defense.
Fitzpatrick was second on his team with 64 tackles, 43 of them solo stops in 2023. He also tallied three pass deflections and a tackle for a loss despite missing six games due to injury.
The former Alabama defensive back has been featured in these annual rankings four of the six years he has been in the league.
