Miami Dolphin and former Alabama speedster, Jaylen Waddle was recognized by his peers as one of the league’s best, landing at No. 63 in this year’s NFL’s Top 100 list.
Since entering the league in 2021, Waddle has developed into one of the best deep ball threats in the NFL. Waddle is coming off his third consecutive 1,000-yard season receiving after being drafted by the Dolphins with the No. 6 overall selection.
Denver Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II refers to his former Alabama teammates as consistent.
“What he does on the field amazes me every time. He just does it consistently at a high level,” Surtain said.
Waddle’s consistency was rewarded in his first offseason of extension eligibility, as he signed a 3 year, $84.75M extension with Miami that will keep him under contract through 2028 at a total value of $104.6M.
