Jonathan Allen named to NFL Top 100 players for the third consecutive season

Jonathan Allen warms up

When talking about the league’s most violent run stoppers, Jonathan Allen’s name is one you have to mention.

Allen is this year’s No. 54 player on the NFL Top 100 players list after being drafted by the Washington Commanders, out of Alabama in the first round of the 2017 NFL draft.

“Jonathan Allen is 100 percent a Top 100 player in the NFL,” Former Cowboys NFC East rival, now Tennessee Titans Running Back Tony Pollard said on NFL Network when discussing Allen. “He’s a run stopper, he’s a game changer.”

The two-time Pro-Bowl defensive lineman earned his third consecutive appearance on this list after recording 5.5 sacks and 19 Quarterback pressures in 2023.

Allen spoke about what it means for him to have the respect his teammates and peers around the league.

“It means a lot,” Allen said. “I think the biggest accomplishment, off the field that a player can get is being voted as one of the best in the league by his peers.”
