Alabama football fans had some concerns after a defensive lineman missed the first two practices of fall camp.
LT Overton, a transfer from Texas A&M, is expected to contribute across the front. The 6-foot-5, 265-pounder was one of the marquee recruits in the Aggies’ top-ranked 2022 signing class. He recorded 48 tackles, three tackles for loss, and a sack for Texas A&M in 23 games with four starts. Overton, a native of Milton, Ga., was not with his position group on Wednesday or Thursday.

However, it is nothing serious via Alabama defensive coordinator, Kane Wommack.
“He has not been feeling well,” Wommack said Thursday about Overton. “I think he’ll be back in a day or two.”
James Smith, a former five-star from the 2023 class, has gotten more reps with Overton out.
Overton will be back soon for the Crimson Tide to go through camp.
