Why Kendrick Law feels Alabama wide receivers do not ‘have a lot to prove’

Alabama wide receiver Kendrick Law runs with the ball against Tennessee

Kendrick Law feels Alabama football’s wide receivers’ best days are in front of them ahead of the 2024 football season.

The Crimson Tide lost its three leading receiving options from last season in Jermaine Burton, Amari Niblack and Isaiah Bond. Burton went on to the NFL while Niblack and Bond both transferred to Texas following Nick Saban’s retirement.

Law thinks Alabama’s wide receiver room does not have a lot to prove with some new faces and some inexperience at the position. He feels they have a lot to show despite the loss of production from last season.

“I don’t feel like we have a lot to prove,” Law said.” I feel like that we’ve already proven it. No one just has seen it.”

The Louisiana product thinks the Tide’s new offensive scheme is showing promise, and he is interested in seeing how it feels to play in it against competition in an actual game.

“I feel like so far it has shown me that,” Law said. “When game time comes, we will see for real.”

Alabama football is rolling through fall camp as they approach week two.
