Alabama football took its sixth practice of fall camp — first one in full pads — indoors.

The working media got jam-packed action Wednesday as several positions were close ups.

Alabama is starting to see its running backs, tight ends, and safeties round into form. I also got a good look at wide receivers and the offensive line. Notes from practice are below on the Crimson Tide.

Notes from UA’s sixth practice

-Robert Gillespie had Alabama’s running backs catching passes out the backfield, taking hand-offs and running up the middle, and performing pass protection drills with an exercise ball.

-Jam Miller, a third-year player, took all backs through drills. He looked very smooth at each assignment, especially catching passes and putting moves on defenders. Justice Haynes, Richard Young, Daniel Hill, and Kevin Riley came behind Miller.
