Jalen Milroe is excited to play within the new Alabama football offense under Kalen DeBoer, Nick Sheridan and company.
Milroe is set to enter his second season as the Crimson Tide’s starting quarterback. The former four-star recruit is working closely with the entire Alabama offensive coaching staff as they work to design Alabama’s offense to Milroe’s strength, which is something the Texas native feels is the ‘best thing.’
“So, now having spring ball, summer, fall camp, we can narrow it down to now to plays I like, plays that I dislike,” Milroe said. “We have talked amongst each other and with the offensive staff. We’re just seeing what are some things that I like as often. But one thing is that we’re not narrowing down the offense. We’re opening up the whole playbook to what I want to run. That’s been awesome to have that opportunity. Now that we’re in fall camp, it’s all about narrowing down the plays I like. The offense is catered to me. That’s been the best thing so far in seeing that. I’m super excited because it’s all about getting confidence in the offense.”

Milroe showed constant improvement during the 2023 football season when he threw for 2,834 yards and 23 touchdowns to go along with 12 rushing scores and 531 rushing yards.
Many feel he is one of the Heisman favorites heading into next season.
