Damien Harris is no longer joining the Crimson Tide Sports Network as a sideline reporter, per Chris Stewart during an appearance on WNSP’s “The Opening Kickoff.”
Harris retired from the NFL at the age of 27 in March after five years in the league. He was announced as the new sideline reporter for the Crimson Tide Sports Network’s Alabama football broadcast last week.
The former Tide running back will now be taking advantage of another opportunity, per Stewart.
Former Alabama outside linebacker, Christian Miller filled the role last year.
