Alabama scrimmage No. 2 notes: Crimson Tide’s defense fires back

Alabama’s offense headlined the first scrimmage, but Saturday was the defense’s moment to shine.

Kalen DeBoer praised the Crimson Tide’s secondary and defensive line, but several names stepped up.

The offense had a couple of explosive plays at Bryant-Denny Stadium; however, the defense put the clamps on it.

According to sources close to Touchdown Alabama Magazine, here are some of the biggest nuggets from scrimmage No. 2. 

Notes from UA’s second scrimmage

-Alabama’s defense set a physical tone in scrimmage two.

“The defense was flying around all day today,” sources said.

Red Morgan (freshman) and King Mack (transfer) both recorded an interception for the secondary.
