Courtney Morgan is locked into a three-year contract as Alabama’s General Manager, and he struck again on the recruiting trail with helping the Crimson Tide land arguably the best running back in the nation.
Akylin Dear, a four-star from Quitman (Miss.) High School, gave his verbal commitment to Alabama on Tuesday over Ole Miss and Mississippi State.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder joins four-star Anthony Rogers to give the Tide a deadly duo in its offensive backfield for years to come.
Freddie Roach was Dear’s primary recruiter, but Robert Gillespie sealed the deal with him.
