The Alabama defensive coaching staff is optimistic about the future of freshman defense lineman, Jeremiah Beaman.
Beaman was an early enrollee for the Crimson Tide as a former four-star out of Parker High School in Birmingham, Alabama. The in-state product is continuing to make strides forward as he carves out a niche as a contributor in the future. The Tide’s outside linebacker coach Christian Robinson has even taken notice.
“I notice him in practice,” Robinson said. “That’s one thing with him, just at the point of attack, being able to hold up, where as maybe when he first got here in the spring and was going through the installations looking like a young guy. He doesn’t look like a young guy anymore and he’s really put himself in a position where he can be counted upon and that’s a deep room, but he’s shown that he can be counted upon in a crucial moment if needed, and I know he will for us. I’m really proud of the work he’s done, and he really cares about his craft. That’s how he’s built, that’s how he was raised and he’s gonna do a great job for us. I know that.”

It will be interesting to see if Beaman can get some snaps this season and gain meaningful experience.
