Ryan Williams and Alabama football have been a hand to glove fit since he arrived in the summer.
The former five-star wide receiver was smooth in fall camp.

He grabbed the attention of coaches, players, and reporters with his speed, explosiveness, routes, and playmaking abilities.
Williams, a product of Saraland (Ala.) High School, has had people compliment him on his maturity.
At 17 years old, he has a mindset of someone who has played college football for three to four years. The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder made plays in two scrimmages and was a constant conversation in practice. What has made his transition so seamless? Crimson Tide fans would love a response to the question. It is natural for a freshman to have some issues; however, Williams has embraced everything.
Kobe Prentice, a junior wide receiver, said he knew Williams was ‘going to be able to adapt.’
It has been a smooth transition for former 5-star Ryan Williams at the University of Alabama.

“I was his host on a couple of his recruiting visits,” Prentice said Wednesday.
“It was just how mature he was. It has been a smooth process for him. Ryan is making plays and he has a bright future.”
Nick Sheridan, Alabama’s offensive coordinator, has been impressed with his freshman. He likes how Williams wants to be coached and said his maturity is ‘good.’ Sheridan has to create ways to get the ball in Williams’ hands all season.
“Ryan has certainly made a lot of progress,” Sheridan said. “It was the first time we were able to work with him in practice. We have been pleased with how far he has come. He is improving every day.”
After a great high school career, Williams is more than prepared to take over at Alabama.
It is going to be fun to see his impact on the field.
