Bryce Young is in the business of turning doubters into believers in his second year in Carolina, under new head coach Dave Canales.
Young has a long climb ahead in his efforts of doing so, but Saturday, the climb became a little less steep when the former first overall pick closed the 2024 preseason with a solid performance. Young looked comfortable completing 6 of 8 passes for 70 yards and a touchdown pass. He played just one series in Carolina’s Saturday preseason finale against the Buffalo Bills, finishing with a 140.6 passer rating.

The former Alabama quarterback said he’s ‘comfortable’ with the new regime in Carolina as he confidently operates in the team’s offense after an offseason of instillation.
“I will be comfortable either way,” Young said. “I know they are not just waking up and rolling the dice. There is a reason for everything and they are very calculated in what they are doing. They have our best interest at heart. They have had success as a start throughout different places, so I will be comfortable whatever the call is.”
Young is now set to enter his second year under center in Carolina. He will face off against the New Orlean Saints in a divisional week 1 matchup on Sept. 8.
