Nick Saban was complimentary of the current Alabama football culture on ESPN’s College Gameday.
Saban is experiencing his first college football season as a college football analyst for ESPN. His new gig allows him to check out some of college football’s best practice. One of his latest stops was in Tuscaloosa for one of the Crimson Tide’s second scrimmages.
One of Saban’s takeaways from the scrimmage was the culture of the team.
“All I can tell you is I went and watched last week’s scrimmage on Saturday, and that team still has the same culture they had when I was the coach,” Saban said. “They play with toughness, They play with great effort. They execute well. They have got good discipline. So, Kalen has done a really good job.”
The former Alabama coach included Alabama in his 12-team College Football Playoff prediction.
