Tide fans are set to return to Bryant-Denny Stadium for another entertaining season. Coach DeBoer touched on a few different aspects at the Naylor Stone Media Suite inside the Mal Moore Athletic Facility, but an injury update was among the first topics.
Jaeden Roberts and Jam Miller got banged up late in fall camp.
Roberts, a veteran right guard, sustained an injury in the second scrimmage. Miller, a third-year running back, could have went in the second scrimmage but was held out. According to DeBoer, both are expected to practice and play. Jeremiah Alexander, a former five-star, also sustained an injury. The talented inside linebacker is not expected to practice this week.
DeBoer said Alexander “will be close,” but not expected to practice.
It is huge for the Tide have Miller and Roberts ready to go against the Hilltoppers.
