He waited behind a few headline names at the University of Alabama, but has his time finally come?
Quandarrius “Que” Robinson was a talented linebacker in the Crimson Tide’s 2020 recruiting class. A former five-star from Birmingham, Ala., he came in the same group as Will Anderson Jr., Drew Sanders, and Chris Braswell.

Dallas Turner arrived a year later, making Alabama’s outside linebacker room lethal.
Sanders would ultimately transfer to Arkansas, but Robinson still viewed greatness from Anderson, Turner, and Braswell.
Two of the three became first-round selections to the National Football League, while Braswell was chosen in the second round. Robinson spent most of his time on special teams; however, he stepped up in moments last year on defense.
The 6-foot-5, 241-pounder had 24 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and two quarterback hurries for Nick Saban’s final Southeastern Conference Championship team in 2023.
Kane Wommack, Alabama’s defensive coordinator, sees huge production from Robinson at Wolf this season.
“He has elevated his game from a production standpoint on defense,” Wommack said about Robinson.
“He not only knows his job, but knows how to create disruption in the backfield.”
Wommack also likes how Robinson carries himself as a leader in the outside linebacker room.

“He is a steady presence on the field,” Wommack said. “He is another one of those guys who is a great example bearer of what it’s suppose to look like. He is not afraid to have the uncomfortable conversations, the challenging conversations with someone he sees that may not be holding the standard the way he knows it is supposed to be done.”
Robinson saw how Anderson, Turner, and Braswell conducted the room and their roles on defense.
He is carrying the mantle as one of the four linemen in Wommack’s 4-2-5 system.
It is about to be a fun year for him.
