Alabama’s starting left tackle Kadyn Proctor wasn’t able to take the field after sustaining an injury during warmups ahead of the Western Kentucky game.
Following the 63-0 victory, head coach Kalen DeBoer gave a quick update on the status of Proctor.
“Couldn’t go tonight, and we’ll continue to evaluate tomorrow just to see the severity of it and I think we’ll know more as the week goes on,” DeBoer said.
Stepping up to replace Proctor was tackle Elijah Pritchett who had been competing with Wilkin Formby for the starting right tackle position.
Even with Proctor out for the game, the Crimson Tide front was able to produce a total of 334 yards on the ground.
