The return of football for the University of Alabama starts Saturday night versus Western Kentucky.

Crimson Tide fans will pack out Bryant-Denny Stadium for the matchup to begin the Kalen DeBoer era. A former Tide standout got fans excited on Friday as he was the voice behind a video released via Alabama football on social media.

Josh Chapman, a former two-time BCS National Champion in 2009 and 2011, is the director of player development.

He was a successful defensive lineman for the Tide, but now he prepares the next wave of athletes. Chapman spoke on how Alabama let all naysayers know in 2023 — en route to a Southeastern Conference Championship and College Football Playoff berth — but the Tide is ready to LANK again. The push to return to the national title stage starts against the Hilltoppers.

Alabama is prepared to show it still rolls in the post-Nick Saban era.
