Kalen DeBoer started his era of Crimson Tide action with a 63-0 victory inside Bryant-Denny Stadium over Western Kentucky in front of a sellout crowd. Alabama nation came out in huge support, and a lot of former players liked what they saw.

Marquis Maze, a former Tide wide receiver, gave high remarks to DeBoer on social media. The two-time BCS National Champion in the Saban era (2009, 2011) believes DeBoer is on his way to joining Saban and Bryant as a “G.O.A.T.”

Maze feels Saban left the program in good hands with DeBoer.

Alabama now turns its attention to matchup against South Florida this week.
