
Is Kane Wommack exactly what Alabama needed at defensive coordinator?
Initial reactions from the Crimson Tide’s season opener against Western Kentucky would say so.

He coached the defense to a shutout in Alabama earning a 63-0 victory last week at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Defensive players flew around the field, created turnovers, pressured T.J. Finley, and played with physicality. Ha’Sean “Ha Ha” Clinton-Dix, a director of player development for the University of Alabama, was a Consensus All-American and a first-team All-SEC player in 2013 for the Tide.
Clinton-Dix, an Orlando (Fla.) native, was a two-time BCS National Champion in 2011 and 2012.
As an elite defensive player, Clinton-Dix was very pleased with Wommack’s defense.
