The college football world went nuts last week as a 17-year-old took over the television for the University of Alabama.
Ryan Williams, who should still be in high school, had a debut for the ages at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The former five-star had two catches for 139 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
He impressed everyone with his speed, hands, and vertical playmaking abilities on his routes.
Williams’ scores came on receptions of 84 and 55 yards to help the Crimson Tide to a 63-0 dominant victory against Western Kentucky to open its season. South Florida now has to deal with the Freshman of the Week in the Southeastern Conference. ESPN’s Tom Luginbill called Williams ‘the next Amari Cooper,’ and the Bulls have to figure out how to limit him.
Alex Golesh, head coach of South Florida, had high praises for Williams via Athlon Sports.
“A really great challenge,” Golesh said about defending Williams on Saturday.
“Long, can run, really, really impressive. That dude’s going to be a monster as he gets stronger and bigger.”
South Florida has a good secondary, but do the Bulls have enough to contain Williams?
We will see how much production he has as Nick Saban will have his field dedication this weekend.
