Caleb Cunningham is remaining locked in with Alabama football despite the push from other programs.
Cunningham is a five-star wide receiver out of Choctaw County High School in Ackerman, Mississippi. He is currently committed to the Crimson Tide and does not picture himself anywhere else in the future at the moment.
“I’m really locked in right now,” said Cunningham. “There are other schools working hard to get me, but I’m really locked in.”
The Tide beat out Auburn, Florida, Tennessee and others to pick up the five-star.
“It’s the resources there,” Cunningham said when asked what went into his decision to commit to Alabama. “They are gonna produce, and they have a great coaching staff. Why not them? They got a lot of resources that I need to be successful. The place is good for my position.”
Alabama had the attention of the Mississippi product on last Saturday when it opened the season against Western Kentucky. He enjoyed watching the many freshmen, who played, especially Ryan Williams at wide receiver.
“They really impressed me, and I can see them doing great things as freshmen,” Cunningham told Touchdown Alabama. “Ryan being 17, he really the youngest out there. He playing like a veteran. He just doing his job. I’m looking to do the same next year.”
Touchdown Alabama was able to see Cunningham in live game action on Friday night as he flashed some of the things that make him a great prospect.
