Nick Saban feels Auburn has an opportunity to make some noise this season under Hugh Freeze.
The Tigers are 1-0 after defeating Alabama A&M in their season opener. Saban feels more success is in store for Auburn in 2024.
“There’s going to be a lot of Alabama folks that won’t like what I’m going to say here, but I think Hugh Freeze is going to do an outstanding job at Auburn,” Saban said on ESPN’s College Gameday. “I think they’re going to be one of the most improved teams in the SEC. D.J. Durkin is a great addition for them as a defensive coordinator. I really think they are going to make a huge impact, especially with explosive offensive players they have added to their offense. They are going to be somebody that everybody has to reckon with”
The Tigers take on Cal on Saturday.
