Las Vegas is laying between 14 and 16 points on Alabama football to beat Wisconsin, but a Fox Sports college football analyst does not care about the point spread.
Joel Klatt is one-half of the Fox Big Noon commentary team that will call the Crimson Tide’s matchup against the Badgers on Saturday at 11 a.m. CT from Camp Randall Stadium. It will be an intriguing atmosphere for Alabama in its first road matchup under Kalen DeBoer. Klatt was featured on The Herd with Colin Cowherd and said Wisconsin has a legitimate shot to beat Alabama.

Luke Fickell, Wisconsin’s head coach, last faced Alabama in a 2021 College Football Playoff Semifinal Game at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl.
Fickell, who was the head coach at Cincinnati then, suffered a 6-27 loss at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
“Yeah,” Klatt said about if Wisconsin has a shot to beat Alabama.
“I think Wisconsin is better this year than they were a year ago. Luke Fickell has built something that is a bit under appreciated and they are leaning more on the run game. Tyler Van Dyke, their quarterback, is going to have to play like the young Tyler Van Dyke from Miami that everyone thought was a Heisman Trophy candidate. People thought he would be highly touted in terms of the NFL Draft, and it has not played out that way. He is looking to regain that form. Their defense is pretty solid. Their secondary is very good, Luke knows what he is doing. They are tough-minded. As we learned last week in college football, anybody can be beaten on any given day. This would certainly not shock me if Wisconsin is playing a tight one, and this is a great environment.”
Alabama was in a tight game last week with South Florida until six minutes left in the fourth quarter.
It cannot afford to take the Badgers lightly on the road.
