Jalen Milroe looks like he is loving the addition of Ryan Williams to Alabama football’s offense.
The 17-year-old freshman and the Alabama quarterback have connected six times for 207 yards and three touchdowns through two games.
Milroe was a recent guest on “The Pivot,” and he recalled the moment he knew Williams was not your typical 17-year-old.
“One thing I ain’t told him, but I guess he gonna know now that I love what he did was, he went to training room one day and our head trainer is named Jeff Allen,” Milroe said. “He went in the training room one day, and he said, ‘hey, can you put me on the plan that DeVonta Smith was on?’ I said, ‘oh he’s serious. He’s serious, serious.’ 17, I ain’t thinking about that.”
More big things are expected to come from the Milroe and Williams connection this season.
