Alabama football is on the road this week to take on the Wisconsin Badgers in its first road test of the season.
Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CST. The game will be broadcast on Fox.
The staff at Touchdown Alabama provide their predictions and analysis of the game.
STEPHEN M. SMITH / SENIOR REPORTER
Key Analysis: “Alabama’s offense will start fast, especially with Kadyn Proctor’s return. The offense should be able to run the football and Jalen Milroe should be able to open his Heisman campaign against Wisconsin’s defense.
Defensively, the Crimson Tide will be able to shut down the Badgers run game and force Tyler Van Dyke to throw the ball a lot.
Look for ALABAMA to force at least two turnovers.”
Prediction: Alabama: 35 Wisconsin: 7
JUSTIN SMITH / SCOUTING/RECRUITING ANALYST
Key Analysis: “Alabama football will look to prove themselves on the road against Wisconsin. The environment should be a great test for the Tide as they look to grow on the field. Alabama needs to grow along the offensive line and show improvement there. The ineffectiveness of this group is having a domino effect on the Tide’s entire offense. Alabama’s defense will look to continue keep opponents out of the endzone. Unlike, USF, the Badgers are expected to be more suited to take advantage of holes in the Tide’s defensive effort.”
Prediction: Alabama: 35 Wisconsin: 14

Key Analysis:
Kalen DeBoer said Alabama’s struggles last week weren’t a wake up call, but today’s game in Madison may feel like that.
This will be the first hostile environment DeBoer’s team will venture into and based off its penalty problem a week ago things could continue early on against Wisconsin.
The return of Kadyn Proctor at left tackle could potentially alleviate some of the stress on the offensive line, but the unit will need to mesh fast for the season ahead.
Ultimately Alabama will head back home with a hard fought win.
Prediction: Alabama: 28 Wisconsin: 10
Trevion Ware / Alabama Beat Reporter
Key Analysis:
“This week, on the road, it is paramount that the Alabama offense gets off to a fast start in both the run and pass game. Jalen Milroe must get in a rhythm distributing the ball to all his pass catchers, while continuing to use his running ability to his advantage. Defensively, it’s no secret that Alabama wants to stuff the stat sheet in the turnover department. Expect the Tide defensive line and their versatile rotation to continue creating pressure up front on Badgers QB Tyler Van Dyke and stopping the run, as they aim to silence the crowd early on.
Prediction: Alabama: 38 Wisconsin: 21
