The offensive line played well, Milroe was efficient, and the defense made plays. Alabama heads into the bye week with a 3-0 record and has a marquee matchup with Georgia on Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium for Saturday, Sept. 28. A former BCS National Champion for the Tide says Alabama has not had a complete game yet, but he’s impressed with the team’s growth.

Marquis Maze, a two-time BCS National Champion wide receiver in 2009 and 2011, feels this Tide team is getting better each week.

The contest against Georgia will have early College Football Playoff implications and determine who takes early control of the Southeastern Conference. Alabama fans will be more than ready to face the Bulldogs, but it will enjoy this win for now.
