Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer provided a few injury updates on defensive back Malachi Moore, linebacker Qua Russaw and running back Richard Young following the team’s win over Wisconsin.

Russaw left the game in the first half with assistance from the training staff while Moore and Young left action in the second half. All three players were unable to return to the game.

“Malachi got hit to the head so I think we’re just going through the protocol with him, you know, it helps having the bye week here so I’m thinking he’ll be alright. Will be fine,” DeBoer said. “Russaw, lower leg. I don’t know where but I know it is lower. But we’ll just continue to evaluate with him.

“Richard Young I think same thing, just lower legm I actually think very similar below the knee area. So we’ll just continue to evaluate those guys. Good to have a couple of weeks here getting ready.”

As DeBoer mentioned, the upcoming bye week comes at an important time for Alabama as it will try and regroup and recover as it prepares to welcome Georgia into Bryant-Denny Stadium.
