Alabama football’s offensive line wanted to block for Jalen Milroe and the Tide’s running back more effectively against Wisconsin.
There were areas of improvements for Alabama upfront against Wisconsin as the Tide defeated the Badgers 42-10. There were less penalties, and Alabama was able to make some explosive plays behind the arms and legs of Jalen Milroe.
The starting Alabama quarterback revealed there were an emphasis on better communication last week for the Tide.
“The biggest thing that we harp on throughout the week is be a great communicator,” Milroe said. “How can we be the number one team in the country, being a great communicator? They did a really good job with that, with the noise, just communication upfront, just aligning, being on the same call. I thought they did a really good job with that, and then all the guys that played really sound, played really physical. We just kept on building, kept on connecting, kept on just going, and I’m just proud of the guys, who did really good.”
Alabama gets a week off before they have to take on the nation’s No. 1 team Georgia in two weeks.
