On How Alabama Played Against Wisconsin
“I thought we played hard, played physical. We kept on attacking. We kept on building, regrouping and we did a really good job just coming together as one, especially when we go on these road games. It’s all about the connection of one and having a mindset that we have the family environment, the family acronym (forget about me, I love you.) That’s very important and evident as we play the game and just kept on building, kept on stacking and just kept on building.”
On Pass TD To Ryan Williams
“It’s all about having eye discipline, getting eyes and tools from their post safety. Gameplan is all about finding 24, finding out did they have one high, two high, and getting coverage recognition from him. He gave a lot of tails on film. So, it’s just all about executing the play and just giving Ryan a chance on the one on one.”
On Passing TD To Germie Bernard:
“It was a great call by coach Sheridan. It’s all about getting Germie space. He does a really good job getting on the toes of the defenders and making a lot of space, allowed the room for me to just push the ball down the field. He did a really good job creating separation. That’s what we wanted. That’s what we saw on tape. We’re just getting that one on one with him.”
On TD Drive To End First Half
“I think the biggest thing was all about finish. Whenever we had time on the clock, it’s all about the finish, execution of the play call, and just keep on building and building. I thought we really did a really good job on offense and being sound with everything that we did, the pass pro, and then pushing the ball down the field. We just executed our route concept at the right depth. We did a really good job just seeing, having coverage recognition at the wide opposition and just pushing the tempo.”
On His Passion For The Game
“I’m just passionate. Just every time I get to touch the football field, I’m just very blessed, very passionate about the game of football. So, we know whenever we have opportunity to make it explosive. It’s all about just having fun, just just falling back to why I play the game, just to have fun, just have moments like that. It’s all about executing the play, but just also having fun.”
On Improvements On Alabama Offensive Line:
“The biggest thing that we harp on throughout the week is be a great communicator. How can we be the number one team in the country, being a great communicator? They did a really good job with that with the noise, just communication upfront, just aligning, being on the same call. I thought they did a really good job with that, and then all the guys that played really sound, played really physical. We just kept on building, kept on connecting, kept on just going, and I’m just proud of the guys, who did really good.”
