Bryce Young is not done as a quarterback in the National Football League, but his days with the Carolina Panthers may be numbered.
He will not start in Carolina’s matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders because he’s been benched for Andy Dalton.

The NFL world is outraged with how the Panthers have shaken Young’s confidence just two games into his sophomore campaign, yet that is what has happened. If his time is indeed over in Carolina, which NFL team makes the most sense as a trade option for the former Heisman Memorial Trophy winner? Dan Orlovsky, an NFL analyst for ESPN, named an AFC East program he believes is the best fit for Young.

“He is done in Carolina,” Orlovsky said Monday.
“Done in the NFL is probably too rich for me. I do think his confidence and belief in himself is completely gone. Someone will have to come trade for Bryce Young. I know Ben Solak has mentioned the Miami Dolphins being a location, that makes a lot of sense. No one else in my mind makes sense right now for him. He is going to have to rebuild himself, confidence wise.”
Mike McDaniel rebuilt Tua Tagovailoa’s confidence in Miami after Brian Flores left.
Tagovailoa stayed healthy last season and turned in an explosive year. He led the NFL in passing yards (4,624) and had 29 touchdown passes. Tagovailoa led the Dolphins to the playoffs, made his first-ever NFL Pro Bowl, and got a contract extension.
He suffered his fifth concussion of his career versus the Buffalo Bills this season, but he is not choosing to retire.
It will be interesting to see if Miami makes a move for Young.
