Bryce Young has been hot button topic in the National Football League since Monday.
The former No. 1 overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft has been benched in favor of Andy Dalton by the Carolina Panthers.

Dave Canales, head coach of the Panthers, made the move just two games into Young’s second season. Carolina is 0-2 on the season and Young is 2-16 as a starting quarterback. Many blame the Panthers for not providing Young with a true opportunity to succeed; however, a former 14-year quarterback in the NFL applauds the organization for making the move to bench Young.
Chase Daniel, a native Texan, went undrafted in 2009 after his collegiate career at the University of Missouri. Daniel played for eight pro teams, including two stints with the New Orleans Saints. He earned a Super Bowl ring as a backup to Drew Brees for the Saints in 2009. Daniel stated on the Fox Sports 1 (FS1) show, The Facility, that the Panthers benched Young at the right time.

“The film does not lie,” Daniel said. “In two games, poor feet, poor footwork, does not go to the right receiver at the right time, you saw Adam Thielen throwing a fit on the sideline, it is just not good ball.”
Daniel does not think Young is done in the NFL, but he says the benching is good for him to reevaluate where he is.
We will see how the former Heisman Trophy winner bounces back from this moment.
