Former Alabama quarterback, Bryce Young talked to media members Thursday after being benched by the Carolina Panthers earlier this week.
Young is in his second year in the NFL after being drafted by the Panthers as the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Carolina is 0-2 this season with Young as its starting quarterback.
California product took accountability for his lack of production when talking to the media.
“There’s a lot of plays that for last year and these first two games, for the most part, every snap hit my hands, and I didn’t do enough with it at the end of the day,” Young said. “I take accountability for that. There’s plays, there’s stuff, there’s a long list of things that I wish I was better at, and I’m gonna continue to work to grow.”
Andy Dalton is expected to start for Carolina for the foreseeable future.
