Nick Saban blasts Vanderbilt with the ‘truth’

Nick Saban meant no disrespect when he said it, but it may be hard for Vanderbilt to take it as so.

Saban was 4-0 against the Commodores during his career as Alabama football’s head coach. The Tide traveled to Nashville for two of those victories. The former Tide head coach feels Vanderbilt is the only place in the SEC without a home-field advantage.

“The only place you’re going to play in the SEC that’s not hard to play, Vanderbilt,” Saban said on the Pat McAfee Show. When you play at Vanderbilt, you have more fans there than they have, and that’s no disrespect to them, it’s the truth.”

Alabama will travel to take on Vanderbilt on Oct. 5.
