In-State 5-Star LB Anthony Jones building relationship with Alabama football with constant communication

Anthony Jones is going to have teams and coaches from across the country going in and out of St. Paul’s Episcopal over the next few years.

Jones is a five-star recruit in the 2026 recruiting class. Alabama, Auburn and Texas A&M are just a few of the schools working to put themselves in a good position with the junior.

The Crimson Tide will host Jones next weekend when they host the Georgia Bulldogs. Alabama’s staff is currently in constant contact with him.

“It’s been great,” Jones told Touchdown Alabama. “I’ve been talking with them like every other day, just building a relationship with them.”

Alabama is recruiting the 6-foot-4, 240-pounder to play the WOLF position. This position moves around Kane Wommack’s defense quite frequently.

Jones has been watching the new look Alabama defense and likes what he sees.

“They’ve been playing hard-nosed football,” said Jones. “They’ve been dominating.”

Auburn is another school standing out to Jones.

“They’re a good school,” Jones said. “I like the coaches in the program, and they building them something great.”
