Kalen DeBoer was asked about Donald Trump coming to the Alabama vs. Georgia game Saturday during his Monday press conference.
The former President of the United States is slated to be in attendance for the highly-anticipated matchup. DeBoer feels his attendance along with ESPN’s College Gameday shows how much attention will be on this matchup.
“I’m sure there’s gonna be a lot of celebrity type people here, people that wanna come be a part of what’s happening on gameday,” DeBoer said. “It’s gonna be everyone watching, be great to have everyone who wants to come watch be here. I told the guys this with Gameday and everything coming here as well, for the guys to try to take as much off of their plate, other than maybe a few extra interviews towards the end of the week, just the main thing is that they get prepared to play the best football game that they’ve played this year. I always challenge them to play the best football game they’ve ever played in their career…it is kind of cool that we have a lot of people who wanna come be a part of the atmosphere and add to the excitement, energy that the game will bring.”
