College football fans will be going crazy as Tuscaloosa (Ala.) will be electric. ESPN’s College GameDay will be at Bryant-Denny Stadium, but the action happens on Saban Field as this Southeastern Conference showdown takes the stage. Smart wants to prove he can beat the Tide without it having Nick Saban on the sideline.

Several oddsmakers in Las Vegas have the Bulldogs as a 2.5-point favorite, but a CBS Sports analyst sees Alabama having its way with the ‘Dawgs in this marquee conference matchup.

Rick Neuheisel, a former college football coach, is big on the Tide for Saturday.

“Alabama is going to be rocking and rolling,” Neuheisel said. “And by the way, they are the most explosive offense I think we have seen this year. Twenty plays off 20-plus yards, this Ryan Williams as a freshman receiver is a star. Germie Bernard knows the offense. He came with DeBoer from Washington, and he’s their No. 2 receiver. As good as Georgia is and as good as Kirby Smart is, his Achilles heel has been Alabama. I think it remains that way.”

Neuheisel is going with the Crimson Tide at home.

Alabama has been dominant as an underdog versus Georgia. ABC will have the call for Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CT.
