A new development has happened in college football for updating injuries.

Each team in the Southeastern Conference has to provide a weekly availability report, which is now a requirement for conference games. Alabama and Georgia both provided updates on players.

Crimson Tide fans should be very excited as Malachi Moore (safety) and Cole Adams (wide receiver) were not on the list.

Moore, a fifth-year senior, took a hit to the head versus Wisconsin, but he healed over the bye week. Kalen DeBoer stated on his weekly radio show Wednesday that Moore is good to go.

Adams, a redshirt freshman, suffered an arm injury against South Florida. He is good to go against Georgia too.

According to the injury report, Qua Russaw (linebacker), Jeremiah Alexander (linebacker), and Richard Young (running back) are listed as “probable” for Saturday versus the Bulldogs.

This is huge for the Tide, especially with Russaw.

The 6-foot-2, 251-pound edge rusher is needed to affect Georgia’s quarterback, Carson Beck. Russaw had a lower leg injury in the meeting with Wisconsin.

Young, a redshirt freshman, had an injury similar to Russaw’s versus the Badgers. Alexander, a former five-star, has an opportunity to play in his first game of the season. His return brings depth back at the inside linebacker position.

Alabama kicks off against Georgia at 6:30 p.m. CT this weekend on ABC.
