Alabama true freshman cornerback, Zabien Brown stepped up in a big way when he was tested Saturday night in a clutch moment by picking off Georgia’s quarterback, Carson Beck and sealing the Tide’s 41-34 victory over the Bulldogs.
Brown’s play comes as no surprise to fellow true freshman, Ryan Williams after the two played each other in EA College Football 25 the night before.
“It’s because we played NCAA last night,” Williams said. “And it was like a close game, and he (Brown) caught the game winning pick six. So, this morning I was like, ‘Bro you gone catch a pick,’ and he was like ‘of course, that’s what I’m gonna try to do anyways.’ Next thing you know, game winning interception and I was like ‘man, we called that. I was screaming.’ That’s how lost my voice, because I was like ‘I told you! I told you.’”
Brown and Williams are both already making their impacts defensively and offensively in big games as starters for the Tide. This impressive play has Alabama fans and their coaching staff with continuous growing excitement for these two.
