Zyan Gibson was among the top recruits in attendance for the Alabama vs. Georgia game Saturday in Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Gibson is a four-star defensive back in the 2026 recruiting class. He holds offers from some of the nation’s best college football programs, including Alabama, Auburn, Oregon and others.
The four-star describes his latest visit to Alabama as ‘epic’ one and felt it was a game changer.
“I never experienced that before,” Gibson told Touchdown Alabama. “I got a chance to hangout after the game with Dre (Kirkpatrick) and other players. It was an epic night.”

Alabama’s defense had its moments against the Bulldogs including a game-sealing interception and a strong outing in the first half.
“It was outstanding, and they have a lot of energy,” Gibson said when discusses Alabama defense. “They also was playing freshmen.”
Gibson is a long 6-foot-1 defensive back with very good reaction skills to go along with his elite speed, which is verified by his 10.85 PR in the 100-meter dash. He also works back down the field with good closing speed and can make plays on special teams as a returner.
