The San Fransisco 49ers’ star wide receiver, Deebo Samuel is blown away by Alabama’s freshman wide receiver, Ryan Williams.
The Saraland, Alabama product has put the entire sports landscape on notice this season with his play on the field. From Serena Williams to Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks, the freshman is seeing his popularity skyrocket.
Samuel feels the talented freshman would be in the NFL next year if it was not mandatory he stays in college for three years.
“That young cat there is special,” Samuel said. “The body control, the spin move, breaking the tackles, running down the sideline. That little 17-year-old, he gifted. I feel like if it was some kind of like the basketball world, as in one and done. He’s snapping right now. He got like 18 catches, 462 and like four, five tuds. That’s elite at a young age as a true freshman.”
