The Crimson Tide had a few players get banged up in a 41-34 victory over Georgia last week. Alabama had two players on the injury list that were updated and both have an opportunity to play. Kendrick Law, a junior wide receiver, is “questionable” for the Nashville (Tenn.) trip to face the Commodores. He suffered an injury on a trick play against the Bulldogs, but nothing was unveiled on the extent of the injury. Justin Jefferson, a linebacker, is “probable” this week for Vanderbilt on the road.
Jefferson totaled a tackle and a forced fumble. Coach DeBoer said Wednesday in the SEC teleconference that he’s ‘not ruling out’ Law for Saturday, but he is not saying Law ‘is a for sure go’ either. The versatile playmaker is ‘day-to-day’ for the Crimson Tide.
The probable status for Jefferson puts him with more of an opportunity to play.
Law, on the other hand, could be held out against Vandy. He will be a game-time decision.
