Alabama pregame notes for Vanderbilt: Veteran WR to step up in Kendrick Law’s absence

Many empty seats are inside FirstBank Stadium, but Alabama fans did travel to Nashville, Tenn.

The Crimson Tide takes on Vanderbilt at 3:15 p.m. CT for a chance to improve to 5-0.

Alabama will not have junior wide receiver Kendrick Law because of an injury against Georgia. Kalen DeBoer and the Tide are focused on playing a clean game and finishing each play.

Justin Jefferson, an inside linebacker, was listed as “probable” for the matchup and did dress out.

The pregame notes for Alabama are below for Saturday’s contest with the Commodores.

Alabama pregame notes vs. Vandy

-Kobe Prentice, a junior, went through routes on air drills with Germie Bernard as a starter.

-Prentice will take over for Kendrick Law against Vanderbilt. He has seven catches for 92 yards and a touchdown.
