JUSTIN SMITH / SCOUTING/RECRUITING ANALYST
Key Analysis: Alabama football should be able to display its dominance against Vanderbilt. Jalen Milroe and the Alabama offense will have an opportunity to make some highlight plays in this one. The challenge could be on defense with the Commodores running a triple-option attack. It is an offense must college defense are unprepared for, especially early in the game.
Prediction: Alabama: 48 Vanderbilt: 17
Trevion Ware / Alabama Beat Reporter
Key Analysis: After a big win last week over a marquee opponent, it is important that Alabama gets off to a fast start on the road to take the hope out of Vanderbilt. Alabama must do so to avoid any possible emotional hangover, as some have labeled this game a classic “Trap game.” Expect to see a heavy dosage of both Tide backs Jam Miller and Justice Haynes. Jalen Milroe should also continue his success on the ground, opening the airways of the Commodores secondary for vertical shots to Ryan Williams, Germie Bernard and other pass catchers. Defensively, Alabama will look to corral Commodores pesky QB, Diego Pavia.
Prediction: Alabama: 45 Vanderbilt: 13
