Alabama’s loss to Vanderbilt sent shockwaves through college football on Saturday, so much so an opposing SEC head coach paused his press conference for a moment to point out the historic game.
That head coach was none other than Ole Miss’ Lane Kiffin.
The former Crimson Tide offensive coordinator trailed off in front of the media following the Rebels’ win over South Carolina with a look of disbelief.
“Sorry this is like a once in a lifetime thing going on,” Kiffin said. “Better watch or you’re never gonna see it probably ever again.”

The Commodores win over top ranked Alabama was it first over a top five team in the history of the program.
For the Crimson Tide, the loss will be a test of will in its game next week against South Carolina.
